*One standard US measuring cup (8 oz, 240 ml — the kind with line markings, not a mug) holds roughly 100 g of dry kibble. A kitchen scale is always more exact; your bag's feeding chart is the authority.

🍽️ How to serve water
- Don't ration water. Unlike food, fresh water should be available all day — refill the bowl whenever it's low.
- With meals? Perfectly fine. Letting your dog drink during or right after eating is normal and safe for most dogs.
- Gulping huge amounts right after eating is the only pattern to watch — spread a second bowl around the house and offer smaller amounts more often.
- Wash the bowl daily; dogs drink noticeably more from a clean bowl.
Based on ~50–60 ml per kg body weight. Wet food, hot weather and exercise change this — sudden increases or decreases are worth mentioning to your vet.
